I cant believe Im graduating so soon.
3 years in TP just flew past like that,
I still dont regret appealing and changing course to Retail Management.
If not, I would have probably missed hanging out with the craziest bunch of people.

Even as a new stage in life lies ahead,
Im curious what lies ahead.
Sometimes I wished I could dream of the future.
Just a glimpse of it would be good.

Currently, Uuniversity choices are a major issue.
NUS? SMU? SIM? Sterling?
I dont know which one I wanna go for.
Its gonna have a huge impact on my future.
Maybe its time God took control.
I'll leave it all to him :)

This week has been pretty good, presentation went well. 3 papers next week.
I wanna do well, need a better GPA to enter uni.
Well, off to studying then.

Works been pretty much fine.
Just workload piling up.

Things have been good but not that awesome!
Mission Trip in December and Im so stoked for it.
Gonna be really cool not just understanding missions but doing it

People leaving the company, Shirley, Tony,Michelle Phang and the other design intern Kyley.

Some for personal reasons, some to pursue other careers and one back to school.

But I wish them all the best. I miss school too!!! All the lectures, stressing over project work and the bitching about irritating project members. Working life seems so routine and boring.

I need to pickup a new instrument seriously...just really curious to learn the guitar. Maybe play for church some day.

Oh ya and I just watched Hells Kitchen Season 6 Finale. DAVE WON!!!
BEN CHAN OWES ME ANOTHER MOVIE!!!

HAHA!!! I need a new form of entertainment. And when are we meeting up??

Supervisors are nice and friendly. With loads of free food and drinks at any time
However operations dept seemed pretty safe to me till I received my first task.
I swear I almost dropped dead.
Its something relatively new and im still trying to get everything in.

Microsoft Word and Excel have been my best friends since Day 1.

Company is going to organize some Community Day@some old folks home.
But Amanda wants me to do reception with her...HAHA!

Results are out, Satisfying but not sufficient.

Not that I dont want to take up responsibilities or what. Is just that I felt someone should take over.

Tmrw gonna be better.

So today being 10th May is Mother's Day.
And TP has to be so cruel
Make us go down all the way to Yew Tee Point to help out in some
Fraser Centre Point WOW MOM'S DAY.
In the end reach there, the person say dont need so many people. Then just shifted some boxes and packed some goodie bags can go le.
Waste my time sia, travelling time there at least 1 hr. Go there barely 45 mins siah

Its been a week full of partying and going to birthday celebrations. Looking at how people have changed as they have grown older simply shows the level of maturity one has grown into. I for one have always like birthday celebrations. Its i think the only time when one can actually have their friends over to celebrate that very one special day of their lives. Funny how it seems how people hate growing older. People complain of eye bags and wrinkles as they age. Still people do not see the increased wisdom one gets from all that experiences and encounters they have experienced.

Gabriel's Birthday on the Sat. Amanda's and WeiYing's on the following Monday. Had much fun even though the wallet had to suffer a lot for that. Birthday's makes one feel much appreciated and loved.

SO HERES A SHOUTOUT TO AMANDA, WEIYING and GABRIEL: HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY!!! Hope you all enjoyed your special day and dont forget mine. HAHA!!

Boring holidays

I initially thought holidays were to relax and enjoy life. But i've been rottiing my holidays away. Cant go out as im officially broke gone were the days when i had plenty of cash to spare. If only people were willing to hire me i guess the recession has taken a toll on everyone. There's really so much one cant do without money yet some say money is not that important. Thinking about it every single activity requires $$ except for sleeping.

Still have not sourced for SIP...which i dread. Thinking about what to expect for Year 3, should i just give totally on pulling up my GPA. Since I think its quite pointless i'll never make it to local uni, parents dont really are that interested in sending me overseas. Looking at how hard they slog their guts out just to keep the family going makes me think more about saving. Having children and paying for their education really isnt that easy.

Having my handphone spoilt again really sucks!! Cant communicate witht the rest of the world and i feel so naked without it. Facebook really kinda getting boring with the new crappy layout and countless quiz results posts on your wall. I just wanna find the meaning in life. Living every moment of it to the fullest. Now life just seems meaningless and boring. I've gotta think about things to do. Things that i used to do all ceased, thinking back i should have continued on some things and not give up maybe i could have a better future.

I guess all these things are up to God to decide for me and I dont really have any control over it. Well this has to be my longest post yet, but I feel much better after putting my thoughts up and hoping I can reflect on it.

Today marked the end of trading at 1st Ave for us year twos.
It was quite sad to be taking down our displays and returning the stocks to the supplier.
Then our class had a PARTY!!! Thanks to Mr Ho who contributed $200. We lao yu sheng and eat pizza. Indeed it was quite a treat to reward us for our hard work.
Still I'll miss my class mates this year as they are a fun bunch to be with.
Going through 2 sems with them really getting to know them and all.
But it has to be like this. Hopefully year 3 dont get lan jiao class mates.

Tmrw leadership presentation. I done up my necessary preparations le. Hope all goes well :)

Reality Strikes

I been feeling Wayyy Lowwwww since New Year's Eve.
Seeing the working attitude of some has really changed my opinion of them tremendously
I seriously hope its not because of something interfering with my judgement or something.
Maybe i'm thinking too much or am too sensitive recently.
All the sudden rush into deadlines after the brain took a breather during the holidays.

Counted Down with bestfriend Jo and good pal Shikin together with Jasmine and her friend Elliot.
It may not be the best countdown but I thank God I have friends to countdown with me, despite all I feel Year 2008 has been just a year whereby I learnt a lot, made new friends and had FUN!!!
If i could sum year 2008 in a sentence it would be, Chilling wif my friends, time wif the family and time to make the next step in life.
Time really flies and I am already 18 soon NS will come and the journey to adulthood.
Hope 2009 will be jam packed full of laughter, fun and excitedment.
Not forgetting New Year Resolutions...

RVM window rushing drives me nuts.
And it doesnt help that the tutors are not that supportive.
Leadership project due soon and presentation slides.
MB tagging of merchandise has yet to be done. Supposed to do it today but it appears half my grp came only.
Whole class was supposed to come but it seems only a few are interested/willing to help.
Lack of manpower plus lack of rest equals bad working attitude.

Today had ASPN KS Sports Day in TP

So went down at an early 7.45am only to hear that they have already set-up

So that means breakfast and lapaking at Mensa2

Watched the children play handball and captain's ball

And many other telematches

I kinda feel weird playing with them but it certainly brings back wonderful memories

So now onto the not so nice part...

I went to look for Miss Tan and DAMM was she angry...

My first conversation with her and she was pissed =(

But the time we were given is so not enuff

So i was kinda upset with her demands that were almost impossible to meet.

So F1 in Singapore comes to an end...

Really had fun ushering with my shift people...

Made loads of friends through the 3 days as everyone started to warm up and get to know each other...

The grandstand patrons were really friendly and some even offered me sunblock...

A pretty decent movie...some say its draggy but i beg to differ. Heath Ledger final act before his death proved to be simply spectacular. His role as the Joker was truely played out with lots of emotion. Still only watch if u have time to kill cause it effing 2hrs 30mins. Sat till my butt hurt twice!!! Looks like i'm not in favour of long plane flights. But excellent company today; Ben and Amanda...talked and caught up quite a bit. Hey its me blogging on the only tuesday this week that i have no school

School has been the same so far...

But the only thing that has changed is my attitude.

I'm a more relaxed student instead of last time.

Ok this is related to the SENTOSA TRIP...

So we wanted to watch Songs Of The Sea at 7.40pm...

When we reached there they said:

You should have seen the queue full of angry tourists...

They all wanted a full money refund but Sentosa didnt allow it...so funny la the situation..

I see a Australian, an Indian, an China man and a Japanese Tourist all at the same time scolding a Singaporean Manager...the countries will never be so united in doing something so special...

This proves one point...Sentosa clearly made a huge mistake in forgetting about the tourists component and the complimentary voucher only has a 3month validation period.

So now Sentosa Business is clearly affected...

Hope today's gonna be allright...quite stressed out actually...Still dunno wad to do for CCN Day...Lawyer stuff not confirmed...one declined...one say call back later...and one ask me to leave my number.

Had Market Reseach today...damm shitty la have to go call up lawyers to arrange interview with them. And the pay is shit $7.50!!!! per questionaire completed. Yo all!!! Wads Up!! Went for entrepreneurship just now and met my new classmates. My class damm few guys 5 only leh...i like tried to be friendly and all. But i felt bad cause first time talk to them already collect money for RMT shirt lor...but i like wad i see. No one that used to get on my nerves is here....Thank God! Books are the things that kill me man...first week le start asking my mom for so much money. I kinda feel bad that my parents are paying for my books...since i'm working. But nvm i'll study hard and get a good job then pay them back lor...haha so guai lor i noe...Debbie Ng self appointed me as class rep without getting everyone's approval...well i guess it will only be confirmed during APEL 2. Till den i'm packed to the max next week...orientation planning and projects. Just Bring it man..!!!
Caught SuperHero Movie with Berv after lunch today...simply hilarious i must say. Laughed myself silly...but i missed my usual gang that i hang with....ton,amanda,ben and gab. Cant tell lame jokes and have someone laugh at it. No more self entertainment on the bus rides home...all i got is me and myself. Today had Jap CDS i think its pretty cool to learn Jap...and Jap gals are cute. Damm for individual presentation i need to do about Jap garden which is due in week 6. I will be kept busy this few weeks with so much going on. Planned on joining Adventure Club...training on thurs at 6pm. Projects have been given out and stress is setting in. Oh and i've got two RMT class mates in the same Jap class. Sanae Shigeta is damm cute when she speaks Jap and her English is damm funny. She even attempted to speak Singlish today...Oh YA!!! Went Tampines Safra with the freshies today...pooled and bowled. But had to rush back to Jap class so sad i couldnt stay longer. But i luv the people in 1R04 they are damm nice...well i'll update with pics when i get them. I noe my readers are bored when there are no pics.

Hihi... =D Looks like first day of school isn't that bad afterall...Went for Financial Aspects in Retail Management in the morning boy...wad a dry lecture...I realised sumthing...first day of school the bus always very crowded...but i managed to get off in one piece in a very orderly fashion. Met my Freshies after their boring CSA lecture...went TM and Century Square hoping to kill time. Settled at TM GV watching Funny Games.US I swear its the worst show i ever saw. Damm...my gv partner not in my class anymore...no more free movies and proper movie updates. Its good to see my freshies bonding together...reminds me of my freshmen days. I wish i wish i could rewind time and go back to Year 1.

Year 2 always seems like u're being looked upon as mentors and are supposed to be more serious. Yet it seems like i'm still relaxing around. Dang!!! GOtta pull my shorts(oops!!) Socks!!! I almost forgot about my lose weight before NS program thing. I'll perservere though...I wonder who will spend my breaks with me and maybe i'll just talk to my imaginary friend...

It seems recently people around me are having relationship problems. Dang thank God i dont have to experience the ups and downs of a relationship. Life pretty messy now...with all the crazy people in other classes and having to juggle both school and work. I wonder if i'll survive...then again i see the positive effects of having a relationship. U have someone to talk to even if no one wants to talk to you...u think about someone even when no one's thinking about you. I'm still waiting though for the right one...but i always find myself in a losing situation. Lessons at 9am tmrw...wad a way to start sch. I'm gonna miss 1R03...hope my freshies will noe after year 1 how it feels like to change class and realli cherish their class mates now. I gotta watch more anime since i'm taking Jap...lols that totally random. I wanna go on a shopping spree...i wanna do so many things...time is never enough.

Back from reality people...its been real fun being a SL. Especially with my all fun and lovable freshies. All so enthu and all cheering...even though we started slow but on Day Two we totally clicked man. 1st day i felt like i've not been doing a good job trying to make the freshies feel comfortable and welcomed. For that i apologise...sorry all freshies. But when it came to handsign song and mass dance i could see all the freshies had the eagerness to learn and follow. And it certainly brings back memories of my years as a freshmen. On a side note i learnt a few things from the freshies...which is supposed to be a secret. 1R04 hope u all had fun even though it was hot and stuffy and u might think we dont appreciate what u are doing...but we in fact super appreciate what u all are doing.

On a heavier note...damm i changed class. T03 i forsee conflict and friendship and even though all are unavoidable still i better be on my toes. Damm i've no photos to blog on...nvm by next week i promise pics:D

O man...i'm stuck at home again. Anyone wanna date me...? Haha joking...Damm sentosa is a no go...been anticipating for quite some time le. But one for all and all for one...so ton dont feel bad but u treating pizza next time. Haha!!! Tea Party was fun but here's the funny story...there was this gift exchange i bought Merci Chocs and wrapped it in newspaper since the only wrapping paper i have at home was for birthdays. When i exchanged it...guess wad i got back? A box of Merci Chocs just that it is not wrapped. Like WOW!!! Thats an exchange...nvm moving on. I opened todays classified...then i saw my house the park resturant wan hire people...$7 per hr seh...going interview later. Its damm good la cause its just opposite my house...but why now then advertise...sian sch starting le. Nvm i'll tell them i'll commit nights sure can wan...but its gonna take a toll on my studies. Pray that i will have the discipline to manage both...GPA must go up cannot go down. K back to slacking in front of the com...Week Zero baby!!!
